Business Books - Some are more complex than others. Some authors want the ghostwriter to do more work, some want it done faster. For a 50,000 word business book my range is broadly 40,000 USD - 60,000 USD
Forbes Magazine in June 2023 reported that the average for a standard 50,000-word business book was 75,000 USD!
Memoirs - 60,000 - 80,000 words would be broadly in the range of 50,000 USD - 70,000 USD again subject to research requirements, availability of information, interviews required etc
To ensure we’d be a good fit I offer a gift call to talk about your project, how the process works and refine the project pricing around your goals.

As a memoir writing coach, I'm your personal strategist and cheerleader. I can help hold you accountable with weekly meetings, and we can talk through any problems you're having as you write your draft. I can save you time and energy by being an outside perspective and share ideas on how to structure your memoir and how to approach chapters.
As a developmental editor, I can offer feedback and notes on your draft to strengthen your book as you work, or after you've completed a full draft.
These services vary in cost depending on the scope of work, but they're great budget-friendly options for those who aren't able to have a ghostwriter handle the full draft work.
